Do you think that a mage-cleric combo is one of the most god-like and devastating in the game if not i'd like to hear your opinion on the best multiclass combo

I dont like the C/M's that much... I like elven f/M's MUCH more... + you can get a c/m easy with Aerie [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Anyway, Cleric/Mage is a good multi, but not the best one, IMO. You'l have lots of spells, yes, but that's your only advance.  Fighter/Mage, as Glorfindel said, is much better, cause then you'l have both magic and melee support in one character. [img]smile.gif[/img] Fighter/Mage/Thief is the obvious best one if you're going solo.

Anyway Did I forgot to say the C/M's are VERY good when you first start the game but by the time you start getting to higher levels they lose alot of their good points... They dont get very many high level spells... which is a problem for all multi-class spell casters....  But 1 thing I REALLY like about C/M's is that they can get the bonus' of the Robe of Vecna for the cleric spells as well... which is great [img]smile.gif[/img] |

Well, lets not forget the Staf of Magi with two proficiencies in the Staff, plus the robe of vecna and some good rings plus spell triggers, sequencers and contingencies. If you try you could solo, but indeed, the EXP cap makes it hard to be REALLY good.
