In addition to many of the previously mentioned ones I highly recommend Record of Lodoss War, Vampire Hunter D, and don't laugh... Bubblegum Crisis

I don't really watch much anime now, but my first was sailor moon and my next was DBZ, but I never really like sailor moon though, but the DBZ got old after seeing it play the same episodes over and over again. I just wanna see the end to all the episodes.

Well Castle of Cagliostro and Akira were the best anime movies. Going back to the question the first anime series I saw was proabably Dragonball or Dragonball Z. Although I have seen heaps of other anime's like Ninja Scroll, Streefighter V series etc...What's that anime with that girl who looks like Sailor Moon and casts magic to do with dragons...It's on the tip of my tongue

The first anime I ever saw was Tetsuon Atom!!
And ill be damned if they ever have a better series about Nuclear robot boys saving the world from big-eared aliens! After that it was Samurai Pizza Cats, Speed Racer, Voltron, Transformers, Ulesees in the 31st century, Gundam, then 0078, then MASK, My first anime MOVIE was LITTLE NEMO, then umm... i guess the only thing I saw after all that was... well... Dragon Ball the original. Then there was that god awful pokemon phase, then the lodoss war phase, then the NEO gundam phase including the 1980s 0083 War in the pocker and 0083 Stardust memory. GOD i loved stardust memory! It made the Zeon look good! SEIG! Oh and then there was the whole Evangelion phase... after evangelion i guess I kind of got into Ranma 1/2 but I actually liked Fushigi Yugi Better. Dragon Ball Z and Tenchi Came along therafter along with DBGT actually. After that insainly long period of time I decided to invest in some new seires, mainly GASARAKI, which I certainly found to be one of the FINEST mecha ive seen. Not for the MEcha itself but for the characters connected to it. Even if they have giant sideburns. AH im getting off track. I also liked Iria Zeriam the animation, Ruin explorers, 3rd eye, Akira, Metropolis, Spriggan, Ghost int he shell, Generator Gawl, Venus War, New Lodoss war, Medabots was cute, Digimon didnt last a week, Kinda' looked at zoids.. through it was kind of childinsh. I only managed to sit through one full episode of the new transformers before declaring it the lowest budgeted series i had ever seen in my LIFE *aside from kimba* OH and I almost forgot to mention Blood the last vampire, the most recent movie I purchased, I also love Mihazaki's work, including Princess Mononoke and *tries to hold it in* X1999!!! auhg... I lent it out to a freind and never got it back T_T ... *wishes he could watch X right now* and the most recent anime ive looked into getting is this NEW blue Gender thing... OH AND YEAH I have watching it in English too... I taught myself Nihon just so that I could hear better voice acting *actually it was so I could get along with legitamate people in online games too but thats another story* Its quite easy... 46 letter alphabet... and thats about all you need to REALLY really know WEEEL i hope you liked that history lesson, though it was severley out of order and if you have the time and money, check in on the new Vampire hunter D, NO not the old D, the new D is kewl too, but I think blood was better for overall content and texture work. Too bad blood only runs 45 munits. I LIKED the Freaky English/Japanese Dialogue mixture though! QUITE nice I must say ^_^; and um if theres anything I didnt name above it was probably too unimportant *COUGH* Voltage Fighter Gowkaizer, Photon, Iria:Zeriam the animation, annd umm gotta go bye... *cough*
