Yep, 0.771 is the latest. I'm working on 0.780 right now. The latest version of the installer will give you 0.770, and there is a small update that needs to be downloaded as zips to give you 0.771.
It's a long process to update the installer and distribute the files, so sometimes I just make incremental updates available using downloadable zips. About the auto-update... Once you install DC, you will have a shortcut on your Start menu called 'Check for UAF update online'. This will compare your DC version with the version on the download site, and inform you if there is something newer available. If a newer version is waiting, you can then choose to download and install it. There are two ways, using two different install programs, to install DC. The first method downloads a small (176KB) exe that compares your installed files against the files on the server and only downloads the files that have changed. The second method downloads an all-inclusive exe. Both methods give you the same thing, a fully updated DC. The first method can be much faster since only changed files are downloaded. I mention this stuff because the auto-update for DC picks one of those two methods to download updates. Whichever method you used to install DC initially, that's how the auto-update will work also. I recommend using the first method, but I made the second method available because some folks have trouble with the installer downloading files. First Method: http://uaf.sourceforge.net/web/UAFInstall_web.exe Second Method: http://uaf.sourceforge.net/full/UAFInstall_full.exe
