Uugh! I'm in front of the door to the final encounter and by some bizare twist of fate, I never learned the Lavawalk spell! Nor do I have a scroll! I can't seem to get to the door quickly enough to use the keys! Doh!!!
Now I'm hunting mobs inside trying to get enough exp to level my wizzy to get that spell (or hope that a scroll drops). How painful! |

Do you have a Wizard? What level are they? What level is their Stone Spells? I think Lava Walk was a level 5 or 6 spell. Just kill a few Baddies, and you might get the level up you need.

Also note: There are several "stepping stones" in the Lava floe. Try to 'jump' to each of them to get to the doorway. It's risky, but it can be done.
Also, if nothing else, try finding some more demon lords and pickpocketing them...they often carry "Lavawalk" scrolls. Turn spawn rate on "High"; they should show up pretty soon. -Sazerac |

Another possibility is cast enough Toughen (Vine magic) to survive the lava long enough. Or just boost the hitpoints of your priest, and resurrect the others afterwards.

I have heard of several people getting past it with carg's last suggestion - it takes many toughen spells,and quick work with the keys - kills off the other 5, but as long as you have a resurrect spell or scroll so that you can ressurect the guy with the spell you can make it work. I could jump about on the stones, but standing on the last ledge I got caught very badly when my lavawalk spell ran out (and I couldn't find anywhere there that was safe).
