Like I have said before I Have to work.
But I just talk to my wife and she said she had about 50 kids. And since I ate 5o pieces of candy out of the hundred we bought she said she ran out of candy. So I guess I need to buy 150 pieces next year.

75 for the kids 75 for me

Do they speak German in the perfect country ?

Halloween huh - I blinked and missed it. There has been a growing Halloween trend in my town, and I have had kids knocking on the door trick or treatin for the last 3 or 4 years. Usually it takes me completely unaware, what with it not being a traditional Aussie Holiday, but I usually rush to the cupboard to see what I have, or run down to the shop to get some lollies.

This year though, the reason that I never noticed - we had a large storm front sweep through last night - all the kiddies would have been kept inside by their mums. Makes me wonder if some of the costumed ones might visit tonight.

That sounds like a good reason to go down the shop for chocolate bars n stuff - what are you looking at me for - they are for the kids

Got any of those stuffed shells left? You live close enough to drop them off...

Didn't get a SINGLE taker over here. Now I'm stuck with 8 lbs of candy. Ridiculous...guess that's the last year I'll do that!

Won't go to waste, though. I'll treat my students tomorrow with the leftovers. They'll be happy.

Cheers,
Same thing that happened a few years in a row after I moved to another part of the city. Went from getting tons of kids and running through about 20 1 pound bags of candy in under three hours to getting three or four rings of the doorbell all night until I finally gave up...
