"Im normally not the kind of person to ask anyone for anything, rather, Im the first person to offer help to someone in need. I need help. Please offer a prayer. I have never met a sweeter more loving person and we will gladly take all the help we can get."
As good as done Earthdog.

Thank you all again so very much.
Yes Saz you are absolutely correct. Medical science is vastly improved. Thank God its no longer the days of "bleeding" the patients Or prescribing a healthy course of leaches One comfort is that she is supposed to have the best neurosurgeon in the Melbourne area. He's done this operation a boatload of times. Still, I dont find that very comforting. Id prefer the guy was putting pins in a broken wrist. And someone elses at that Still I suppose we should count ourselves lucky and be glad hes not the Dentist from Little Shop of Horrors (Hes by far the coolest character in the movie ) Thanks again yall Im going to make her send a thank you note to each and every one of you when she recovers As I will of course I reckon Ill get to bed and keep you all informed as to her progress tomorrow.

Words fail me, Earthdog.
I am so terribly sorry to hear about your wife's condition. I pray fervently that God will send His angels to encampeth round about your family during this terrible trial. I pray that He will guide the surgeon's hand with His, and that His other will rest upon Linda's brow. I pray that the skills and knowledge of the O.R. team will be increased and blessed by His Holy Presence. May God be with you and carry you during your hour of need. While I'm sure it is small comfort, I personally know two people that have survived brain surgery in the last 5 years. Both have recovered completely and continue to lead normal and productive lives. I sincerely pray that Linda will experience the same results. When is her surgery scheduled?
