Baldur's gate II Collection - Need help installing

I just bought the collection - BG2, ToB, and the bonus disc. but, i need to know how to install it.

I know BG2 comes first, then what? when do I patch it?

Do I need to patch Tob? (None of the text was showing up, so that's why I'm re-installing)

when do I do the bonus disc?

and what folders do I install each game (and the bonus disc) to?

I just read that if I used a XP cap remover in BG2, that I miss out on ToB HLAs or something... what if I install both games, then start a brand new one in BG2, does the ToB Xp Cap apply?

BG2 - TOB - Bonus Disk - Official Patch - Baldurdash, I think. TOB will install into the same folder as SOA. Bonus disk I'm not sure of, but I *think* it will simply extract some files to override. If you have TOB installed, the raised XP Cap is retroactive - ie, it *will* be applied in just SOA aswell. Same with HLAs.

With ToB installed, you could already go as far as level 40, IIRC - and as you're pretty much demi-God-like from level 25 on, you really don't need a ToB XP cap remover in my opinion.

I could have sworn I mentioned what is the proper installation order in the FAQ, but maybe I did not. [img]tongue.gif[/img] One thing I do know though however, is that I did not mention anything about the bonus discs( for the pre-order and collector's editions). Should I include them?

For those with the bonus disc(s), can you explain what format are the files in?

TOB Official Patch. Same with the Fixpack - Baldurdash TOB Fixpack. Do not install any SOA-only stuff onto a TOB install unless the readme says you can.

For the bonus disk, all you do is put in in the drive and it gives you the option to install it. After you do so, it puts the files where they need to go and adds an icon to your Start menu to view the specials on the disk.
