Ack, send more soup! Had to get antibiotics for sinus/bronchitis issues and then the next day my hubby was in with a 101.5 fever and is now on antibiotics for another infection....we need a few gallons of that soup, methinks!

Hi Gangrell! Sorry to hear you've had a rough year but as Lady Z says, Spring is coming and it does sometimes make you feel better seeing the sun and al the plants come back and feeling summer coming on.

Crazed Silly Re: Cloudy's Cafe, A conversation zone! 1-28-08

Here's another bowl...

Long day here... up early to play drums at church, then snowblowing the driveway and packing for a brief Boston trip (no time to meet up this, time ), and off to the airports.

Did I mention the frigid temperatures? High today was expected to be 8... make that -14 or so for the rest of the world... and intense winds, too, making it feel even colder.

Top that off with discovery that we've apparently had an ice dam problem, since there's water leaking near a light fixture, and I'm just *SO* pleased...

On the bright side, I got a Ford Mustang as a rental car today. Of course, if you think about it, a rear-wheel drive sports car is *just* not the best thing to drive on snowy (and potentially icy!) roads... as I had to remind myself several times while driving along I-95 and approaching 90+ mph...

*edit* Forgot to mention the shortest layover I remember ever having... around eight minutes from getting off one plane and onto the next. Gotta love weather delays...

May not cheer you up but I'm off to Rome later this week for a few days break, won't be hot but at least 30 degrees warmer than poor Bungleau has got it

Based on my experience of Italian airports there's no chance of beating his record layover, they can't even get you through the basic checks that fast.

Tacked Note Re: Cloudy's Cafe, A conversation zone! 1-28-08

Just to remain clear, that record layover was *NOT* on purpose... I also knew what plan "B" was...

As for you, Wellard... :finger:

It was one degree Fahrenheit this morning when I headed to the gym... that's minus a !#$%load for the rest of you.
