anyone played this game ? I installed it this afternoon, and i was stunned by the graphics. Also it uses the quake 3 engine and that's a big plus. Man, talk about addiction, it's almost as if you're getting sucked right into the game. AWESOME !!!!!

Played the demo, cant afford the full version - not if I want to get Neverwinter as well.

Awesome comes to mind, although I have no idea how to use the new Lightsabre combat system.

Plus, since it uses QIII it runs like a dream. I love that engine, I really do.

i have it and i LOVE it

multiplayer lightsaber fights are great, but single player is almost as fun...with replay value

you fight lots of stormtroopers and the like in single player, there are just so many ways to utterly dominate them! its just too much fun to toss them around with force powers

if you can afford it, go buy it

THIS GAME ROCKS!!! The only problem is that it's over too quickly. The jedi lightsaber play is awesome. I don't kow why they even bother giving you new weapons after you get your saber. Once you get your saber, you'll never want to use anything else. You'll have to use the disruptor every now and then, but that's it! Once you get the keys for your force powers down, you'll be going crazy with them. Those nasty floating droid turrets wearing you down? Use pull and then split them down the middle! Just like swinging at a big baseball! Yank guns out of the troops hands and watch them run around panicked with their hands in the air. Use force speed with reckless abandon and put the world in slow motion while you cut it apart! It's a blast!

Actually I think this game is a lot longer than most first person Shooters (max payne, avp2). And yes its a blast to play, once you get the lightsaber, you never go back. I can imagine what hardcore star wars fans must have beeen thinking when they got to fight side-by-side with Skywalker.

Luke seems to like shooting off on his own little tangent and can get himself in too deep. One jedi enemy is no problem. You can handle two at a time and survive with some wounds, but if you let yourself get surrounded by three, you're dead meat! I played through that fight a couple of times just for fun.

True, true. i was particularly disappointed with Desann. I actually found the fight with Tavion harder, oh well.

is that anything like the old Jedi Knight (Dark Forces 2) a few years ago? i loved that game, since you could reflect stuff with your saber and hack off limbs. I'm sure the graphics are much improved, but do you get to actually hack people apart? a lightsaber is no fun if you can't pull a Tatooine Cantina trick.
