Sniffly, you do know that LBM is a medical term for a certain illness don't you?
Or is that the ultimate in subtle flaming?
If so, I'm quite impressed!

Uh, Memny, don't be impressed. I am clueless. We just started calling him leaderbossman in our multi game and it stuck. In game it's too darned long to type out so I abbreviated...er, am I going to want to re-think this?! Maybe I don't want to know!

Look, I'm not after rubbing people up the wrong way and CB it was the furthest thing from my mind to upset you or anyone else in any fashion. I was just a little disappointed to read that it's difficult to play with me re timezones.
There are times when the depths of personal despair fall upon me from a massive height and it really is as much as I can do to keep myself together. When these times hit me I assume the world and his wife are against me and I read incorrectly into things. I cannot tell you how difficult it is to have to intentionally distance yourself from those you've grown up with and love for fear of falling again.....a cast iron certainty unfortunately. Anyway these phases pass, they last a week or so and the taste in my mind is gone and my head clears again. These multiplayer games are just about my only link with "reality" as it may be called. I just don't like the idea of somebody else finding my involvement "difficult" and I'd rather butt out if that's the case.
Anyway, apologies if I've upset anyone.....

Charlie:
I am so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time of it just now. I do understand, but please don't withdraw from the game with us!

I am going through a very tough time, myself right now and I really look forward to those games with you. I even got upset and ranted in the first half of Melusine's sig thread over nothing in particular just because I'm in that deep blue funk.

PLEASE play. In all his emails to me about the game (forgive me turbo, but I'm going to tattle), turbo has said over and over again what fun it is to play with you and what a great guy you are. Charlie, that's the hundred percent serious-no fooling around me talking. It's so easy to misread things on a monitor or even to type something that doesn't come out the way you mean it. And the truth is, I only agreed to play multi, in the begining, because you were the one to ask. I love your posts funny and serious and thought it would be wonderful (which it is!) to play a game on the side with you. I really need that game tonight, and so do you. Don't back out. Dammit, I'm dripping all over the keyboard in my office...I have to go now. Just consider what I said, please?!

Oh god No!!!!!! Charlie don't you dare leave me. I sent you an e-mail before I had a chance to read this thread. Charlie I am SO SORRY if you misunderstood me. CB was right, it was never difficult for us to play with you. I was trying to put myself in your shoes and thought it was difficult for you to be playing at odd hours of the night. In fact I was not trying to bump you either. I thought you had BG1 and TotSC going and didn't have IWD to play a multi- I haven't seen you on the board this week and was hoping to talk to you about this.

You are my chief thief buddy! I hope to see you there for our afternoon game or night game in your case, maybe we can straighten this all out then. I have to go to work now.

YAY, I knew you'd explain, it turbo! See Charlie, here we were being so worried about you having to play at odd hours and it came off sounding like it was us who had the hard time. It is definitely one of my weekly MUST DO's to play that game with you. And frankly, I was mucho disppointed that because of the availability of the game being so uneven, we might not be able to play IWD with you. So if you are up for it, we can play BOTH. I'm addicted, I already admitted it!

See you tonight, both of my elves better be there!

Look, sorry guys.

There's nothing to straighten out. I read 2+2 to be 5 sometimes....it happens. It's been a bad week and I can't wait for the m/p game to get started. I love playing with you guys so much and the thought that you may be finding it difficult to accomodate me was a shock. It's never been a problem for me. It's understood now and fitted in its rightful spot...forgotten. See you tonight Turbo, CB, looking right forward to it..oooh I got that urge...you know which one....ooohhh
