Imported berserker/mage with exp cap removed. Had some minor problems with traps....did not complete all quests (obviously no NPC speicific quest), but overall a pretty fun class. Took a long time to level in my first game, so I kinda took the short-cut around it all by importing (and my lack of patience).

I played Wizard Slayer solo on core rules. It was really fun! I have to admit that I chose this class only because people on the board I was a member of said it was impossible. Well, it _is_ possible and by the end he became really powerful. I even wrote sort of walkthrough. I am still trying to sort it out and post on my site.

I played an fighter/thief/mage. I chose this class because I find it quite interesting. You can use almost every weapon, cast spells, find traps and steal. It's the best of three worlds (corny, I know). I did it with the ex cap removed, because if I left it on I would have reached the highest level before reaching spellhold and I would have gotten my ass kicked. Next I'm planning to go as a monk.

Just a tip: try playing a class that you normally wouldn't play - like a jester or an avenger and try to solo with that. You will fall in love with BG2 all over again (or you will get frustrated and throw it out )

How do you make it near the end with a non mage character.
I meen all enemies have protections which a mage easyly remove with Lower resistens, Pierce Shield, Warding Whip and so on.. How do you harm these enemies if you play, say solo Jester? ------------------ |
