Scooters are motorbikes technically speaking - just with a step-through frame

I have a 1969 Innocenti Lambretta GP(DL) 125, turquoise
and a 2002 Piaggio Vespa ET4, 125cc, black with chrome racks

LOL Bruce - my mum didn't want me to get one either, but at 32 years of age I think I can do what I like in that respect I do a LOT of things my mum wouldn't approve of!

I'm planning on getting a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail when I get enough money. At the moment I don't even have any licence, even though I could have had one for 3 years now.

My dad's got a Honda Goldwing GL1500 - great bike.

I got my first mini-bike when I was 5

Now I'm saving up to get a Harley Fat boy.

I've got a Kawasaki Vulcan 750. After 32,000 miles in 3 years, I still look forward to riding every chance I get. I looked at Harleys, but most cost twice the price of an equivalent Kawasaki cruiser, and I wasn't convinced (not by a LONG shot!) that I would get a better bike. I ruled out other Japanese bikes mostly because of the service/support I get from my local Kaw shop.

I own a scooter, and I use it only to travel around Milan. Enough to have scored 10000 km in 2 years.

I wish I could ride a Ducati or something like that, but I am certain I would kill myself with it, so I stick to car driving instead. I don't drive much slower, but at least you cannot fall with a car...

I still have memories *nightmares* about the first time I rode through Milan on a motorbike It was a traumatic experience. Sitting at a red light while the cars behind where tooting me to go through. Aggressive lane swapping and many near death experiences

The second time was better because I worked out if you drive aggressively it becomes safer!!! You blend in and it all makes sense.
