cd_clint.dll
Anyone know what this means? I installed Norton Antivirus 2004 on my computer, and ran the virus scan. Two seperate times I've done this so far, and both times it lists this cd_clint.dll file as being 'at risk'. I don't like the way that sounds, so I click 'delete file' and it says 'delete failed.' So I follow the path listed to where the file should be located, and I can't find it, so I did a search for the file name... again to no avail. Like it doesn't exist, and neither does the folder it's supposed to be located in. This file never popped up when I had Norton 2002, and suddenly it not only exists, but is 'at risk?' So why can't I find it, what the hell is it... basically, should I be worried or no?

I hope this helps some.
http://www.cexx.org/cydoor.htm You might want to try adaware and see if it thinks it is a problem. http://lavasoft.element5.com/default.shtml.en Granamere Sorry if it is in your c:\Windows\system or c:\Windows\system32 directory or a couple of others and you are running 2000 or XP you need to give yourself permission to see System or protected files. Normally for most users it is best to leave this disabled. If you really need to see these files open explorer > tools > Folder Options > View > Hide Protected operating system files. The reason this is disabled by default if you delete some of these files programs will not run. If you delete others of these files your computer will not boot! Be very careful. 605 .. consider a second anti-virus opinion before deleting. Try searching for AVG Antivirus program on Google. Its free.

I'm positive that that file is what Kazaa uses. If you want to get rid of it, delete Kazaa.

actually, that cd_clint.dll if I am not mistaking, runs the cd, I could be wrong, but I used to get error messages about a missing cd_clint.dll when the cd burner quit working for some reason
