A short extract from a review of BGII Shadows of Amn in the September 2001 issue of PC Advisor (UK)

" A measure of the popularity of BGII is the amount and size of the chat communities that have grown up around it. My personal favourite, the Iron Works (sic) forum, boasts a thriving community of enthusiastic individuals with an astounding (some might say unhealthy) knowledge of the Baldur's Gate universe"

Hehe, I just knew he wasn't going to say BGDungeon or GameBanshee. BGDungeon died loooong ago, though was still more popular than Ironworks is now (though the Ironworks atmosphere is better than it used to be at BGD, I must admit that ), and GameBanshee... Better I'd shut up about that one.

Oh, and welcome to the club of press mentioning! The Elysium got mentioned in the press some months ago as well, because of the Darkest Day expansion which Potencius and Minto are developping...

I wonder who the writer was. It isn't often that a forum would get mentioned in reference to a game. The writer would have to have spent some time here. Maybe he just lurked for awhile.
