Hey everyone, I had two really wonderful,if short trips! NH lakes are just lovely in the summer. And I can't tell you how peaceful my dad's camp is. In the woods on a lake.. nothing but the eerie sound of those loons at night, drifting across the water. Crystal clear, the sound travels so easily then. And sitting on the porch in the morning.. I realized I'd not stopped to appreciate the smallest of things in life for some time. I saw a flicker of light near the screen porch wall and it looked for all the world like a dragonfly spun of pure sunlight. What it was, if you looked closely, was the light playing off the single gossamer strand of spider web on the screen porch wall. As the wind ever so gently moved the web, the light appeared to flicker and fly up and down.. so small a thing, so beautiful and a reminder to me that there is something of joy in everything.

Hello everyone! I'm glad to be home, but ever so glad I went away because I appreciate home, that much more!
