my first time through in the screen where you kill the lich there's a wandering swordsmen like in BG1...you kill him and get some guantlets of weapon expertise and a decent sword. My second time through he's not there...the only thing I can think of is that I cleansed the pond before I saw him since he appeared just after it and/or he's only there at a certain time.
I could be wrong...he MIGHT be where Oswald crashed...if anyone can remember post it please.
