I read that some might be having problems with the battleroom when the golem starts teleporting your summoned monsters. Here is my suggestion which work well for me...
You don't have to fight it when your're at the temple, go clear out the frozen river, fell forest etc first. Then make your way back and have your mages/ sorcs standing at the doorway (north)> Remember to buff your self up and get your magic users to load up on offensive spells (Acid / Fire / Ice / Magic) Have your best tank activate the lever and make sure he can deal diff damages (Slash / pierce / Buld etc) Make sure the Golem don't move and have your magic users pelt the monsters when they arrive. They will go for your tank if your magic users are outside the door. Make sure you are dealing the right type of damage as some are immune to fire / magic etc. Also you don't have to go thru every level, just select the ones which you want the reward and fight that level.

The way to prevent the Gollum from teleporting your summoned monsters is to:
A) Keep the Gollum from moving from the doorway. Do this by keeping the enemy monster in the middle square. Place your summoned monsters just barely to the right of the center of the center square. When the enemy monster pops in, it will immediately turnaround to engage your own monsters. If you place your own monsters too far to the right of where the enemy pops in, the enemy will turn and move to engage the closest summon. If the enemy moved out of the center square to the right, it will be out of sight of the gollum and the gollum will move to the center square and will TP your monsters away. B) If you follow the pointws in (A), do not move your PC to the right of the enemy while you have summoned monsters in play. This will cause the Gollum to start TP'ing your summons. While there are allies on the board, attack the enemy from the enemy's left and you'll be OK. |

Can you hit a Gate summon with Improved Invisibility? If you could if would do damage without taking any and you could just sit back and go through the battle room in a jif, well as much of a jif as 250 fights can be anyway.
