Hmm I would say so shamrock.

Righto, sit down kids and I shall tell you a story from ages past, of mystical lands and....ok, just listen

From what I remember (I didnt really know all that much about it) we were all told at some stage the forum would no longer be called Ironworks and instead it would be called Escape gamming (Ziroc uses that alot I believe) not long after, the forum started to magically transform and soon you couldn't see the word Ironworks anywhere, even the pictures and logo changed, anyway, we were told that a company wanted to buy the name and after a while, Ziroc had agreed though I think it took some convincing on their part, at some stage we found out that it was Microsoft that wanted the name (I think that brought a up a few good discussions ) unfortunantly though we then found out that the deal fell through, luckily though Microsoft compensated Ziroc with some money for not completing the deal....

Though I could be completely wrong, Please correct me if I am

Ohwell. Not much people on the channel tonight anyways. Hopefully it doesn't go down the drain like the last one.

Wow - I hate to say it but that was quite, erm, nice of Microsoft! Certainly better than some of the other domain name stories you hear about!

And sorry Ross, I would be on, but I'm currently mouse-less so the only software I can use with any degree of efficacy is Opera to browse with. Keyboard-unfriendly IRC programmes are just too frustrating

Yeah, it was kinda quiet today, when i came in, the last few days were better though, up to 8 people chatting at the same time. It kinda sucks though that there's no sound when someone drops a line, kinda like on MSN. Sometimes i have 4 or 5 windows open from MSN, and the one from the IW chat, and with so many bleeps from the MSN windows, it's easy to forget about the quiet one.

There's a sound when something has been typed. it gives a " ting " sound. At least that's what I can hear.

Try the alternate server I posted up a bit Sir G, that was the only way I could get it to work.
