In the ritual, after the two babes get torched, if you speak up instead of remaining silent, can you kill the demon and keep the eggs? Just curious as to the type of fight it would be. I don't think that it is your average, run of the mill demon.

Not sure, but i believe the demon they summon is a Lesser demon Lord. They're not fun to be around

He has high Magic resistance and you need
+5 or better ( not a whole lot of those in SoA)
to hit it.

Have fun

It's definitely killable, just very tough. The challenge is comparable to some of those your more advanced party faces in ToB.

It is killable - but to get into the fight either the Matron Mother or Phaere must have the real eggs. Speaking up against the Demon only gives you the satisfaction of getting the last word.

So let me get this straight. If you play it right, you first get to kill a lesser demon lord and then a silver dragon for tons of XP!!! Perhaps I should try that the next time I go through the game

If you speak up instead of remaining silent he won't attack you.

In fact, I always told him to leave. To me it feel right to banish him again, since the ritual is over.

He attacks you if you remain silent? I did that a bunch of times and never got attacked.
