If you're in Denmark the first answer anyone will give you is:

A discount supermarket chain

Other: on goods: the weight on the contents (brutto is weight of contents + weight of container/wrapping

i.e. the same as the english word net

Does this help?

P.S. I do NOT know why you asked

Not in danish - value = værdi

And I'm almost certain this also applies for norwegian and swedish

the only context I can think of is:

Net worth/net value = netto wærdi - but again it's net corresponding to netto + value to værdi

So concluding - I think your TV is lying to you.

If Netto is the name of a discountsupermarket chain, have you considered that what you probably have here is an advertising slogan - "Netto - Scandinavian for Value"

One point I fell that I have to make:

There is no such thing as a scandinavian language

There are danish, swedish and norwegian - three seperate languages ( + finnish, but thats of a totally diffirent origin and has nothing to do with the others)

Well Netto is a word from keeping books.
A supermarket chain. Not a scandinavian word.

Value =värde in Swedish. It is used as a term though.

As stated above, the english word is Net.

Se bancruptcy0bankrut, banka rutta etc fro more financial words origins..
