The Rogue can use a short sword from the start. You can have a
warrior buy one and transfer it to the Rogue. You can also buy the leather+1 goods for the Priest and Rogue. If you use the gold cheat then go out and buy all the equipment for the party. If you restart you can get plate mail for both your warriors. Depending on how many times that you restart you can pick up toughen potions, great heal potions and cure poison potions for all of your party members. |

One other tip: Priests can wear chain mail, too! Get the +1 Chain mail for your priest rather than the +1 Leather armor.
