Has anyone tried using a Swirfneblin as a fighter? I must say, that a Swirfneblin makes an excellent fighter. Maybe he is a bit slow to level up, but he sure can take a beating like no other

my fighter's not a svirfneblin; he's a shield dwarf. i am currently doing the battle square- i did the first three ranks with my barbarian in about 45mins, and have just done rank four in like ten with my fighter. so yes. dwarves make good fighters. i was going to use a svirfneblin, but i loved them soo much in IWD, so i didn't want to see it get beaten up (slightly pathetic, eh?)

Hmmmm? If you mean can they specialize in certain weapons well then certainly...you up your chosen weapons as Feats - if you mean grand mastery it won't let you fill all three slots till a certain level but you can fill at least 2 of em in the first few chapters.
