So I was coming home from the pub after a night out with my friends. I started to have an argument with a friend of one of my friends. We had both been drinking and the argument started to get a bit heated and we both started insulting each other. Then out of nowhere he punches me in the face, busting my nose.

But the worst part is that by the time I had recovered and was reday to fight he had already gone running halfway down the road. If he had stayed to fight that would be fair enough but to suckerpunch someone then run off....it's not right. Meanwhile blood is pouring all over my new shoes and shirt. You can probably tell that I'm a little upset. I don't like having to clean blood out of my shirt. I thinking about what to do now. Anyone have any suggestions?

Strange things can happen when you're drunk. Do you even remember what the argument was about ? Who started it ?

You could forget about the whole thing, but that's not what i would do.

Have a nice talk with him about it when you're both sober.
It's no use starting another fight as he has already shown that he's the weaker one by running of.
It's among the most cowardly behaviour I have experienced or heard of but on the bright side it leaves you as the winner.
I would however expect a full apology from him - No "but you gotta understand" just a plain "It was the wrong thing to do, won't happen again"

It was a stupid argument really(most of them are when your drunk)
We were all talking about soldiers in movies for some reason. The guy who hit me is in the Youth Army Reserve or something like that. Because of that he thought he was the worlds greatest expert on all army techniques and that what I was saying was wrong. So things got worse from there.

It wasnt a serious argument which is why I can't understand why he hit me.

Okay I know you come here and ask problems, I do the same.... And people give very mature answers etc. But It isnt actually what they'd do. Most people who would track him down and beat him would actually just give a mature answer and its stupid.
If you HONESTLY want to know what I'd do: Find him, check his muscles and build, if you can win, confront him and if he dosent apologize in 10 seconds knock him flat. IF you cant win, then say "No hard feelings"
If you want some mature BS like everyone else puts: Find him and have a nice chat........

Pffffffffffhhhhhhhhhh
