In any case, the fact that 1,5 million people voted for a party without any clear ideas (LPF) here in Holland is enough proof that democracy here is a bad idea...

VVD is part of the Liberal party, as is D66. And I fear that people know too little about European Politics (the difference between the European Commission and the Counsil of Europe, anyone?) to vote properly. In fact, many people just cast protest votes against their respective governments without knowing just what they vote for.

I was about to post this, but Ilander beat me to it.. To be honest I really shouldn't be the one checking on spelling and such, because I myself make mistakes all the time. I know my grammar is absolutely horrifying at times.
