Good morning, everyone.

Welcome back, Canadianvixen.

Well, it is 1 October and the Christmas shopping season is almost in full swing here in the plastic capital. If I go out a little later, I could find at least 5 stores who have a full section of wrapping paper, trees, ornaments, etc.
The Neiman Marcus book of ridiculously expensive gifts came out yesterday, as well. For a mere $7,500, you can get a life-size action doll made of yourself. It's true--they will take some digital pictures of you, then convert that into a posable figure, like a mannequin.
On a more surreal note, did you know that for anywhere from $2,000 to $20,000 you can have some of the ashes of a dear departed loved one converted into a diamond, which you can then have mounted onto a ring? I'm not sure what to think about this just yet....

One of the other cashiers where Belle works has been shoplifting on a daily basis for the last two weeks. Her husband makes enough money so that this person didn't have to work, so she must have some psychological disturbance. Kleptomania, I suppose. Anyway, they escorted her away from the store yesterday in handcuffs. What fun!

Yep, you just wait. And, when you eat Sunday dinner over here, Galadria will ask you about when we are going to have grandkids. And get you to babysit your new brother-in-law while we go out on a date. It'll be fun!
Azred, there should be a law forbidding Christmas displays until after Thanksgiving!

When I changed my e-mail address, it automatically sent a new password to that e-mail address. I got it and it's working. Hurray. I'm going to go and e-mail Dan and let him know that at least this headache is fixed for him. Goodness knows he has enough on his plate without having to worry about one member who can't post, but he still took the time to find a solution. Thanks Ziroc! Thanks to all the IW memebers who have gone out of there way to help, Azred, Micah, Downunda, Johnny, Cloudy, Cyril and last but not least Choc. You guys rock!
