ok this is the best armor in the game. you find it in a dwemer grotto out in the sea.mind you unless you are in god mode or a very high lvl char you shouldnt try this . allrighty then for those who want the location as to where to find it...
the grotto is on a tiny isle just southwest from ebonheart. there are 2 tiny islands close by the ebonheart mainland get to the lower island then from there head due west and a little partially south. you will need alot of potions of water breathing cause youll be underwater alot. once you get into the dwemer temple though its fairly simple, couple little spiders and thats it. you need to get into the dwemer vault (lock:100) dont worry to the right side of the map is a tower with a skeleton in it. he has the key to the vaults.now here is where it gets difficult. you get into the vault and the guardian is there to pound you down fast and quick.takes alot to beat him down to. you have to beat him to get the armor locked in the closet though.the only way around having to not beat him is there is a scroll that unlocks level 100 (cant think of the name though right now). beat the guardian or go around either way you got a nice armor to wreak havoc with. cespanar says: "enjoy"

Is this grotto called the Mudan Grotto? If so, I just found it, but when I swam inside, I couldn't go very far and didn't find anything down there (except shells and fish)... is the armor INSIDE the grotto or somewhere else? And where is this tower?

Help, I'm lost (again)
Thanks,
dh

requires you to be able to breathe underwater for a good long time or you will die trying to get to it

There's no need to have breathe underwater thing. If you have lots of hp ( 400++ ) you can go ahead and swim underwater without drowing.
