recharging wands

I searched the posts but no luck.
Any way to recharge wands once spent?
Would be nice, especially resurrection wand.

i think you need to sell them to a merchant and then buy them back - they'll be fully charged but it's expensive. don't be tempted to steal them back - when you want to re-charge them again via selling no-one will buy fenced goods.

Actually, the thief-storekeeper in the Guildhouse will buy stolen property. I believe the merchant in the bottom left hand corner of the Docks District will buy stolen merchadise also.

Is there any cheaper way to do this? My sorcerer has the Sphere, why can't my apprectices charge it up?

I went to sell my wand of magic missiles with one charge, got 16 gp for it, got recharged and he wanted 8000 gp for it! That doesn't seem right.

i suppose it depends how many charges it has when you buy it back - if it's 50 say, then that's 16gp x 3 (3 times is the usual mark up a merchant will charge) which gives 48gp - now times that by 50 (the amount of charges - maybe) and it's 2400gp - hmmmm, maybe you're right! that thing will need about 150 odd charges to be fair price - otherwise it's an outrageous mark-up!

And I think my rep is ok, and I was wearing the Ring of human influence, for all the good it does. It seemed rather high to me, too.

This 3X markup is making me want to get my assassin better PP.

Try casting a friends spell. You'll find that the prices on magical items will drop substantially if you can get your charisma up near 25, even for a short time!

Can you recharge staffs also? Jan has teh Staff of fire that summons fire elementals and I would like to recharge it.
