I don't want to pre-judge him, but it does seem awfully strange that he'd be questioned and have to post bail over one visit to a childporn website seven years ago. I also heard on the radio he said he'd gone in to clear his name and that he didn't actually download anything in 1995, so he hadn't broken the law at that time.
It's all a bit weird, but I hope he didn't do it. Also weird to me on another level.... why did he have to post bail if he wasn't charged with a crime? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]

What with Rebekah Wade as the new editor of the UKs most widely read newspaper I think Townshend could be in for a bit of a media going-over. She was the one who sparked off the whole "Name and Shame" for sex-offenders a few years back. It was paranoia and hysteria taken to whole new levels...
