You mean the odd looking guy in Stargate? Yeah, I dislike that one too.

My theory is that Ziroc is trying to get members to spam less by making all the "top" avatar "cosmetically challenged."

Interesting theory Luvian ROTFL. I think the Beholder is very nifty. OK johnny you can out that weapon down now. How about adding a new Avatar when reaching 6,000 posts? The avatar would be a nice image of Cloudy.

This seems kind of appropriate to this thread... there's no way to change my name is there? Cos when i signed up it said "Name:" and i put in my full name... I would much prefer just plain "Callum" (btw anyone who make s the old old old old old joke of calling me "Just plain Callum" is gonna be henceforth known by me as "Just Plain Lame")
Kerr puts my in mind of my dad who is the principal of my school... so I would rather avoid it whereever possible... Moderaters, Ziroc even?

Concur, Luvian. I have advanced that theory since the advent of "Apopis" and the amusing episode of KFG chasing him around in LadyZekke's sig.
And, Callum, short of re-registering, or direct action of Ziroc, I do not think tha there is a way to change your username.

i know its a completely different forum type, its called yabbse, go check it out, very very nice forum, very similar to this one but with great extras plus very customisable (www.erz-clan.com/forum for the quake3 one pls ignore its unfinishedness will get round to it )

but thanks for the info on profile posts that makes things easier.

still would be nice to have most recent posts for me because im at work and history clears regularly on this machine so i lose all browned links and i dont know which ones i responded to so its hard for me to follow when im in lots of forums, i really could use a decent way to keep track thats visible on the main page not just on profile.

Sorry, UBB is our format and it's not likely to change. It's a lot more complex than YaBB is.

wasnt askin u to change just integrate some features if possible and i doubt it, latest version of yabb is very complex you have all sorts of features in comparison with what i see on here, most of which i disable cos they are pointless or id never use them, calenders etc, still nice for some people i spose, all i want is an easy way of following posts afterall thats what a forum is for, dont need extra flashy bits even if yabb does lots of em
