This is probably old news for those of you who regularly check your incoming messages at Bioware, but JUST in case you haven't checked recently, read this!URGENT: Neverwinter Nights CD Key e-mail fraud

"Greetings:

Someone out there is trying to steal Neverwinter Nights CD Keys by sending out e-mails representing BioWare and asking for people to "update" their CD Key information with a message similar to the following:

Subject: "Important - update your Neverwinter Nights account to avoid service cancellation"

Quote: We are moving to better servers so that better services can be provided. Due to our migration, it is necessary to update our database and backup our customer's data. In order for us to accomplish that, you need to enter the below information:

ATTENTION: If this information is not sent to BioWare by November 30th 2003, your Neverwinter Nights account
will be automatically suspended without further notification!

THIS IS COMPLETELY FALSE. BioWare does NOT send e-mail requests for issues such as this. We do NOT solicit your CD Keys. We do not cancel accounts for issues like this. Please note that the e-mail is NOT coming from BioWare, but from an domain unrelated to BioWare Corp.

If any of you have been victimized by this fraud, please contact accounts@bioware.com
