I', 5'9" and my soon-to-be ex-boyfriend is 5'8". I prefer men to be at least a little taller so I can wear heels, but it's not as important as personality. That said, someone find me a taller boyfriend, quick! Please! I'm not picky at all. I just want him to be slightly insane, dark-minded, and as clever as a winking corpse in a tuxedo. Oh, and not a religious zealot! I just spent the last few years chasing the wrong guy- we dated on and off the entire time but he couldn't marry me because I'm not christian. He married some christian girl that he'd been cheating on instead. As long as everyone is happy, right? (sense some bitterness? lol)

But yes, I tend to like it when a man is taller or at the very least as tall as me, though I'm not about to make any semi-psychological comments as to why that is. I'm 180 centimetres by the way, I think that's 5'9. I had a highschool crush on a tiny Spanish guy once, and it was not fun! LOL BK - I hear you!! While I do prefer taller men I would hate a huge length difference - makes lots of things easier if you are roughly the same length.

I agree! Most shoes are way too narrow! They squish you all outtah shape and are quite painful. They don't do width of shoes here so I only go by the size. I've found that in China they make lots of shoes my size I think that's because most ppl in china have my sized feet, yay! Although saying that.. I do own at least 60pairs of shoes. It's the shopping addiction that and the fact that my feet haven't grown in over 5 years. Do you also find it really hard to wear heels? I can't wear heels over 3 inches cuz otherwise I'd be walking at 90 degrees or so it feels like. Mega painful!

[/QB]
oh sweetie ~huggles~ it's all in the posture, If you slouch you're bound to seem shorter than you are. I like you just the way you are but if you're desperate to grow... try sleeping earlier and eating lots of gai pian.

As for high heels - it's no wonder they hurt your feet, as they force you to bend your feet at an unnatural angle. It totally unbalances your normal posture. This is also the reason behind a lot of men's attraction to high heels: the heels force you to take smaller steps, to stick your bottom and chest out more, and shape your legs differently. Of course, they can also seriously malform your feet and ruin your back Personally I don't wear high heels (stiletto height) either - even if they didn't ruin your back and feet, I find them uncomfortable and they'd make me too tall. I always wear shoes with heels, just not the really high ones. My grandmother, contrastively, wore stiletto heels until she was well into her eighties - she was a real lady [ 04-17-2002, 06:53 AM: Message edited by: Melusine ]
