When you poke fun at Australia
Do the Aussie faces smile in joy
At your every cricket failure

For Nasser's boys they lacked success
When they last came to Australia
Talent won't win matches boys, if you
DON'T SHOW GENITALIA

Our head of state's the same as yours
She's our queen in Australia
And we love it when she visits us
In formal jewelled regalia

Many of nature's bountiful gifts
Are found down in Australia
The Kangaroo, the Platypus
The Wattle, the Azalea

So one day soon, come visit us
Yes come out to Australia
Leave behind your office with its
Medical paraphenalia

Come practice your mendacity
Yes, we do that in Australia
We could use you in the Big Brother house
And Lanesra he could mail ya

So why oh why dear Donut
When you ponder on Australia
Does your bountiful verbosity
So evidently fail ya

That's real bad! If Shakespeare was alive today he'd be turning in his grave!

Shame there isn't a poetry world cup - we'd whup ya.

I've just been to the toilet and spent the time reading the whole of my new book "Australian High Culture"

I know you like to learn new words
That rhyme with our Australia
Mouse may have to explain this one
But Happy Kajuralia

(ROFLOL - Google actually had nearly 250 links - I was hoping it would draw a blank)

True story:

Last night I went to a pub (not my regular place where they serve cider). The idea for a poem about Australia was going through my head and I ended up ordering a pint of Stellia!

As a thief you are a failure
The rozzer he did nail ya!
Steal some bread and we won't bail ya
Around the world,
to Australia,
We'll sail ya!

And you reckon I had no metre or measure - if that effort of yours is poetic licence then we are in serious need of someone to do some revoking

Has to be done with a London accent Davros. That's why you're excluded.
