Ok, this will go somewhere.

I first got into RPG's by reading "Fabled Land" books, and then i got into computer RPG's,such as FF7.Then FF8 and FF9.I have since then done BG1 and BG2.

I also have played many other RPG games on the computer.

What I want to know, are there any good RPG books out there? From reading different threads, it sounds like there is.Is this what AD&D started as?

And are there any good internet RPG things? And how do they work?

Thanx in advance,

Well Lavindathar, it depends do you mean books about stories in the forgotten realms like about Drizzt and so forth or more turn to page x to do an action books. Either way drop by the book forum and a personal question did they ever finish those Fabled Land books I only ever got up to book 6.

You might like the Ian Livingstone books (e.g. Deathtrap Dungeon).. they are a series of books where you pick the paths that your characters will take as you read through the books. The concept for them being a book is a thin veil over the fact that they're really just games. I havent read any of them but a friend of mine used to like them and said that they could be pretty enjoyable.

Cheers,
Eddith
