There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have
an oil shortage here in the USA. Well, there's a very simple answer ...........
Nobody bothered to check the oil.
We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is
purely geographical. All the oil is in Texas, Oklahoma, Alaska, Wyoming,
California, etc., and, of course... ..
All the dipsticks are in Washington, DC.

I think the oil shortage might actually be a good thing, its forcing us to turn to cleaner forms of energy.

It's just a matter of time before we suck ourselves dry. It'll still be a while, but mark my words: the big oil companies will eek out every possible profit they can until the bitter end.

just as I predicted,

THE END IS NIGH!

we'll all end up playing fallout for real.

we'll all turn into tribals, worshiping idols.

And two score slain earns royal ire.

Gwynned lies two days westwards,
Still further south, the weregeld calls.
Mayhap with All-Father Woden's favour,
My deeds may yet inspire the skalds.

Certainly. It's called business.
