Yeah, everyone knows how to gain points in Good and Evil....but I simply have no idea how to gain points in Law and Chaos....my character is chaotic good and he´s on chapter 2...his Chaos stats hasn´t changed at all (though he got 100 points on Good). Does anyone knows how to gain Chaos points?

Also, is there a patch or module that adds prestige classes to the game?

Thx...

All Things are Light by Orpheus will also change your alignment from lawful to chaotic, in fact it will do it for the ENTIRE party if you are in mplayer mode.

As far as I could tell, there is no way to alter chaos/lawful in the original module. In my opinion there was not enough attention paid to this particular aspect of the game. It dose not make sense that a lawful good paladin can steal from an individuals home without an alignment repercussion; how lawful is that?

homer is right. THere is nothing in the original game that will allow you to alter alignment from lawful to chaotic. only the good/evil alignment shifts are implemented.

That´s pretty weird...I mean, they created it and forget to add events that change Law\Chaos alignments...

What a flaw...

The capability to change lawful/chaotic alignment exists in the toolset. Bioware just chose not to put those type of events in the OC. Hardly a flaw, just a design decision.

Yepp, agree with the last post here.

Many problems for Paladins, Monks, Druids and Barbarians.

Personally I don´t like the way you get goody two shoes points for doing quests just because the person you help is good. If I do it for the money I do it for the money. Bah.. Alignments are the biggest trouble and one of the basic things with D&D forever it seems... :S

the official campaign does nothing about the Lawful/Chaos situation, much to the embarrasment of many many Lawful Neutril Druids who turn Lawful Good after a few quests and suddenly discover they can't advance as a druid anymore....

The next release due in spring 2003 will have 5 prestige classes and a 60 hour campaign in it, along with more "content" (tiles, monsters, magic items, etc etc)

The problem with Lawful / Chaotic is that it can be argued that a theif is chaotic because he breaks the law. And it can be argued that he is lawful because he obeys the laws of his own little society. In effect, you have the same actions being judged as lawful in one case, or chaotic in another, and most people just don't want to deal with the issue at all.
