Just thought I would alert you all to the new virus outbreak. It is spreading pretty fast so please all update your antivirus software and run a Windows update to ensure you have the latest Security patches. thanks for the link. from the site i found a tool with which I could properly remove the Blaster worm thats been bugging me for about half a year now(firewall disables, but setting the security level lower makes it run again), so thanks again! [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

So this virus attempts to exploit the LSASS vulnerability described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-011, and spreads by scanning randomly-chosen IP addresses for vulnerable systems. Okay, that explains everything

I have been getting some weird stuff through my e-mails the last few days it all makes sense now. Thanks for the links. But like johnny says I never open them e-mails that I have no clue where they came from.

If i didn't specifically ask for something, i don't even open attachments from people i know. They might be infected without them even knowing it. One can never be too cautious.
