Ok I give up - I've ignored the pesty toad warriors following me EVERYWHERE. They keep attacking me. What did I do? I left the village on good terms? Am I supposed to just keep ignoring them and they will go away eventually? Or do I just kill the annoying toadies??? Any advice?

Once you've completed the Toad Village toad savages are fair "game" for your party. Some amphibians just never got the word that you're the great and wonderful Ukabu.

Kill the annoying ones. As long as u have completed the toadem quest you can kill all the evil toadies u like!!!!!!

I killed the toad warriors with no side effects. The toads in the village didn't notice. Maybe they are another toad faction as they say something like Mekdu...

If you're out of Toad Village, wack'em.
If you're in Toad Village and haven't completed Shimwiki's Totem quest, you're in trouble (this quest is not necessary for the game though) If you've completed the Totem quest, wack'em and have nice frog legs for dinner. |

That is not true. There are two factions and killing the creatures that attack you does not anger Shinwiki or the other guards. I have killed toad warriors right after meeting Mekdawa and before visiting the village and never was penalized for it. The strangest time was when I got attacked right next to the village and then went in to visit Shinwiki. He never said a word. And I have often been attacked right after killing the Scabban's Evils. Shinwiki still rewards me.
I figure that if a creature is stupid enough to attack me first, whack 'em. It is their own fault for being that stupid. Knarfling |
