A rather good discussion of Kyoto can be found here. I've only read the first page, but the first few large posts are particularly good.

Well, I hate to keep posting in my own thread, but this is quite interesting. At the moment, only a video link, but the first comprehensive study of world ocean temperatures has shown quite conclusively that the warming results from greenhouse gas increases rather than natural phenomenon (the first study to do so).

You can find the story
here (probably) - it's under sci-tech if that link doesn't work.

The fact that sea temperature changes are quite variable (ie they change much more in one area than another), this allows a clear correlation to be shown as we know that pollution output and where it drifts to varies largely as well.

I'll throw a bone to the sceptics though: it hasn't been published yet so I'm sure there's reason to doubt its conclusions until a detailed peer review as taken place. That's the price you pay for 'hot off the press' news
