Makes Me sick it does.
It costs almost as much as the vodka, and sometimes more in some bars. I will jsut take my vodka and fresh orange thank you.

Did you know this drink was invented in Austria? I guess just someone of us insanes could have come up with such an idea and become a multimillionaire selling liquid sugar
Personally I drink a can now and then but too much of it makes me dizzy. But its a fact that Red Bull mixed with various alcoholic beverages (vodka, whisky, ...) is quite common here and you can get it in almost every bar or club. Its also very helpfull if you need to stay awake for a long time ((LAN-)party, nightshift at work, ...).

Are you SURE you've seen an alcoholic energy drink? ; [/QUOTE]There are good reasons to drink alcohol with stimulants (of any variety), such as the fact that stimulants speed up your metabolism thus increasing your capacity to drink and warding off the drowsiness factor - meaning you can go on for longer! So yes there are some opposite effects, but those compliment each other nicely. This is why people drink coffee if they're feeling just that bit too drunk - caffeine works in much the same way as taurine (one of the ingredients of Red Bull) but isn't as strong. Leads to one hell of a hangover though.
