Re: Team Fortress 2
As a heavy, I have killed soooo many spies, especially on Gravelpit, checkpoint C...they're always engineers.

Re: Team Fortress 2
...Hey, anybody know any good counter-spy techniques? I'm having some major spy problems, as a soldier, demoman, heavy, and medic.

Re: Team Fortress 2
TF2 looks freaking awesome! I LOVED the art direction. (And I'm not into shooters anymore). I am more interested in making something with the HL2 editor. I bet I could make a KILLER level.....
I made levels for Doom 1 and 2 loooong ago--and Quake 1 and 2 as well. was a blast.. maybe I'll get this for my Birthday--the 21st of this month!

Re: Team Fortress 2
Oh, and Portal...well, I'm gonna start a new thread about it, but it's worth mentioning in the same breath, as it was superb..and probably would be a BLAST to make levels for it, if they release dev tools for it.

Re: Team Fortress 2
Well, sorry here for the double post, but it finally occurred to me...we should trade Steam names around here so that we could play together sometime.
I'm lyle_goodwin ...feel free to look me up.

Re: Team Fortress 2
Okay, I don't play as the Spy as much anymore, since everyone seems to have learned to give all their teammates a shotgun-to-the-face 'just incase'. Still fun to play occassionally, but it takes a lot of effort/patience... sometimes it's nicer just to rush forwards guns-blazing as a soldier.
Now I'm a born again Demoman... such a great class, can switch from offense to defense instantly. Very versatile. And what's not to love about a "black Scottish cyclops". Oh, and the medic, too. It's nice being a support class sometimes, and you never really appreciate how important the medic is until you play a round without one. A medic with an ubered soldier or heavy can completely break a boring stalemate. My steam username is Dextrous. |
