every time I try to load my overland map I get an error that says
"Bogus Params to BitImage()". If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, let me know. Thanx, Dabom7777 |

I tried it with .BMP format at 608 X 288, the same size as the ones I downloaded, and I tried it with .Jpg at the same size. The color depth is 24 bit. I am currently using the 9.02 version but I am upgrading so maybe that will fix it.

did the map that came with the download work?
everything sounds good, though. hopefully, cocoaspud will be able to help if the new version doesn't do it. -manikus |

Yes, the map that came with the download worked... and its the only one that works. I even tried the ones that I downloaded them which always worked before. I loaded the update and its still not working.

I would be happy to diagnose the problem if you could send me your design files.
I would need the *.dat files, the *.txt files, the *.LVL files, and the art file that you are using for the overland map (the one that does not work). Zip up the files and send them to CocoaSpud@hotmail.com. [ 01-07-2003, 08:42 AM: Message edited by: CocoaSpud ]

I figured out the problem... FOr some reason overland maps are looked at differently by the software for some reason. I have all my pictures organized e.g the monster icons in a folder called monster icons, and I had the maps in a folder called maps. When the program looks at a monster icon it automatically saves it into the regular folder so it can read it. But with the overland map, for some reason it wont save it automatically in the regualr folder. so when I put in the regular folder manually it worked fine. GRRRRR...
