Was this a sneaky way of getting people to join a Dark Sun game?

Way to bust my cover, jerk.
But yes, yes it was. I thought it was particularly clever to start it off in the least recognizeable part of the campaign world. |

Heh, I'd been wondering whether it was something like that. Dirty sinner.

Well, don't run for your boxed campaign sets just yet, this isn't entirely run-of-the-mill Dark Sun. I have made some changes, especially because I knew someone was going to be a clever cookie and flip open the books to read up on any familiar-sounding locations they came across.
EDIT: And because people keep asking, the bird is generally just wandering in the background and following Tamora. It's not going to do anything particularly exciting unless there are exceptional circumstances or NPC's/PC's interact with it. [ 02-09-2007, 01:21 AM: Message edited by: PurpleXVI ] |

Caleb: If you manage to meet them, go for it, I can't even remember who they were, so just pretend your next victim was your old character.
Everyone: Okay, what's up? I left a post up for two days and got three posts. Seriously, would you guys at least let me know if you're not going to post or are away for a while or something? That's all I'm asking, it can't be that hard. |

Caleb? I have to say that you are consistently capable of amazing me with your posts, seriously, this is the first time someone's managed to found a use for inactive players.
Hell, with all the reefer smoke in his lungs he'll probably be bouyant, Ulik gets a free raft for exploring the flooded tunnels with. If he can put up with the constant expressions of: "Whoah." that is. |

I'll be away from this Saturday until next Thursday on travel in Spain, quite probably without internet. Feel free to have Anne go along with the flow.
