I was just wondering whether I should bother getting Throne of Bhaal. I already have BG 2, and have thoroughly enjoyed it, but I dislike having an XP cap so low.
Is it worth the money? Thanks in advance, Moiraine Sedai

Yes indeed, you should, as you should get BG1 and it's expansion. I have never had as much satisfaction from any game(s) as taking my first character through the series.

Throne of Bhaal is a lot like Return of the Jedi, if you equate the Baldur's Gate series with the Star Wars trilogy. BG1 is a lot like the original Star Wars, where the main characters and universe and situations and plots are set in front of the viewer/player, but isn't asking for an in-depth understanding, just a willingness to be taken on a ride. An adventure. SoA is a lot like the Empire Strikes Back, as the plot takes the universe so carefully set up in the first movie/game and turns it upside down and shakes it a little, just to skew everything around for some tension, character and universe development, and some damned fine acting. ToB is a lot like Return of the Jedi, as it completes the trilogy, answers all your questions, enlightens on the past, and makes a couple guesses to the future, all in a fun-packed romp. And for the less poetic other reason, I think the Wild Mage (the new mage kit introduced in ToB) is what happened when Bioware gave Nalia one too many snifters of Evermead.
