In my prior adventuring days, all foes were vanqueshed and my choice was made; but, my divine soul was unquiet. I had dealt out justice as I saw fit; but, one slippery slick worm had eluded me, Saemon. I vowed that in my next life, I would make him pay, and pay dearly. I met him after my unwanted dealing with the Shadow Thieves. I knew he was untrustworthy from the very start. I did not even have to use my normaly useless Detect Evil ability, I knew him for what he truly was, evil. Even after my dealings with Demogorgon, I had never met with a being of such self serving deception as Saemon. My premonitions of guile to come would have to wait, I needed passege to a greater goal, my destiny. Of course he set me up and teleported away, my first taste of Saemon. I am given the chance to deal him the death that are in the cards at the end of my ordeal in the Asylum; but again, the city of the hungry fish was calling me and I was forced to abase my deepest desires once again. In my prior life, I remember runing to defend my mage as the ship was boarded and I was again betrayed, only to look over my shoulder just in time to see my betrayer teleport away. I'll never forget the look on his face! This time I was to have my revenge. We are boarded by the Githyanki and my betrayal is more than apparent. Action is called for! Both my Mage and my multi-classed Mage cast Minor Sequencers of Magic Missile, doing about 70 points of damage. My Totemic Druid casts the oh so potent Insect Plaigue. Everyone else shot and hacked away with all earnesty, knowing we only had a short time before he teleported away once again. Justifyingly enough, it was my Holy Avenger that ran him through. How sweet that death scream was, I could not tell you. Revenge is sweet, oh so sweet. How the Gods did not take away my Paladinhood, I do not know. I guess it is for the greater good. Who am I to judge? There is a great satisfaction in a job well done. I hope you find your adventure just as fun.

Hey come on!
I personally like Saemon!
One person like him appears in every Epic Campaign!
And knowing saemon he would have been prepared for your attack and probably escaped unscathed and smiling!!!
