I've reset the adventures and want some tips on charecters and what role I should put them through. In my last game I did it with one character but I've tried for two months now and just can't get past the serpent temple. Please help me.

One thing that'll help you in the serpent temple is having a Lizzord. Their Snakeskin trait will help keep the poison off. The Lizzord should be a Warrior.

My last party worked very well through the whole game, here's what I had:
Human Warrior/Paladin/Valkyrie
Dwarf Warrior/Barbarian
Whiskah Warrior/Samurai/Zenmaster
Elf Wizard/Warlock/Ranger/Paladin
Human Rogue/Ninja/Assassin
Human Priest/Monk/Ninja/Zenmaster

I cheated to get the two Zenmasters. I myself just created a new party. I haven't even taken them out of the Inn yet but here is what I have now:
Lizzord Warrior - Will be Barbarian/Samurai
Elf Warrior - Will be Paladin/Samurai/Valkyrie
Elf Priest - Will be Monk/Warlock/Zenmaster
Pixie Wizard - Will be Warlock
Human Rogue - Will be Ninja/Assassin
Ratling Rogue - Will be Bard/Ninja

I hope this helps you!

I'd recommend a good mix of roles and races. If you want to, you can skip the "rogue" role at the get-go since you can't do anything with it until Ishad N'ha...but I like rogues, so I generally include one in my party.

A good 6-character party without a rogue would be:

Warrior -> take to Paladin
Warrior -> take to Ranger
Warrior -> take to Barbarian (rogue substitute)
Priest -> take to Paladin or Monk eventually
Wizard -> take to Warlock
Wizard -> take to Warlock (or Samurai)

Have one or both of the Wizards specialize in Stone magic, then switch to Sun magic after getting the high-level Stone spells. If you have one specialize in Stone, make him/her a Samurai after getting all the Stone spells and have them start back on Sun magic as well as gaining Warrior skills.

Where you go from there is your idea, but this should get you started.
