While the wights are busy fighting Encard and Tiamat, Neb floats down to the cavern floor, he slowly approaches the Thing, as he gets close, he can feel the immense Negative Material Energy Field that the thing generates, he stops, knowing that getting any close would probably result in an Energy Drain-like effect, he casts a spell of Identify Monster at the thing and while he waits for it to return with information about the thing, he tries to remember EVERYTHING about the Negative Material Plane, it's denizens and everything related to it, which he learned back when he was an apprentice.

(LS, if there is a chance that my character knows anything about this thing or if the spell tells him anything, please post it.)

Encard's form seems to blink for a moment, and then a large golem-like creature is there in place of Encard. It falls to the ground, gets up, and says, "Mwahahahahaha... Foolish mortals, you will die..." Then it blinks for a moment and Encard is back. He looks very puzzled, and says, "What the..." Then he is blinked out and the golem-thing is back, saying, "Little mageling, you think you can defeat me? I will be here, not you!" Then Encard blinks in in its place, saying, "WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?" THen he is blinked out again and the golem is back, and it says, "Ha! Now I am here, and you will die!" Encard doesn't blink back again.

Description- a big, black beholder with one big red eye.
The eye can dominate, cast sleep, paralyze, summon 4 high level Baalors,
Disintergrate, finger of death, cloudkill. This is evil incarnate we're dealing with here. It will regenerate exactly 44 hp a second. It will take normal damage from +4 and lower weaponry. It takes almost quadruple damage from holy or blessed +5 or greater vorpal (for that extra singe) weapons. Also, casting even the minscule Cure Light Wounds will almost 160 damage to it.

As the golem-thing approaches Neb, there is a bending type feeling for everyone, and another golem, this one looking kind of like Encard, appears. (It's my first Encard-Constuct, essentially a mageish-golem created by me with some fancy spells, but of course less powerful than Encard). It shouts something at the other golem-thing, making it turn, and then launches a Ray of Destruction at it, ripping a piece out of its arm. The golem-thing screams in anger and rushes at the Encard-Construct.
OOCI wonder... are you sure about the beholder thing? I'm not sure it has a red eye... how about making it a Negative Material Plane demigod, who's also a portal?)

OOC: Hm... the golem-thing is another angry demigod, I think, here to kill both the Negative Material Plane Demigod and you. *cackle*

IC: The golem howls as it is hit by the hammers, then rushes up and kicks Tiamat so that he flies into a wall. It then slams the Encard construct into a wall (while having some more of its arm ripped off) and starts stomping wights.

The wights turn on the golem thing. It hammers at them. The negative entity shrinks and gains proper shape. After a while, it resembles a man - not unlike Eclipse, but with flames for eyes

"i am the PROTECTOR, Lord of Darkness and bone." a wave of his hand and the wights fall back

The golem-thing charges at him. The entity raises its staff. A blast of force and the staff is propelled at such a speed it smashed through the golem and returns to his hand

"It must be time for my return. And by the looks of things (glances at the dead golem) the enemy is already awake. Gooo... inform the lady of the court I shall be there presently"
