Back again to the Bumble Thread,
With another sad tale of woe. A story most embarrassing, But must be told, even so. So here we are, my mighty band, Of Adventurers so fierce. Bravely facing down the Sphinx, The Shrine doors soon to pierce. When suddenly a thought springs forth, And remembering some good advice, We forego the doors to battle onward, Experience our goal, matter not the price. At last we gain the levels needed, My Warlock stands so proud and true. With points put in appropriate places, Ready to learn the portal spells new. But what’s this? No Teleport awaits us? And alas, Create Portal’s missing also, So we grabs the manual frantically...... DUH! It’s the MOON spells we should know! So here we sit upon the sands, Our heads hung low with shame. For STONE was not the realm we needed, And we only have ourselves to blame. We should have paid more attention, To the magic realms ‘tis true. Now we sit in silent misery, Oh what to do? What to do? Never fear the Bumble!
You never know what it may bring! Some times a fumbled move be done, but then fortune may ring! While in the Dragon Spire, a party quested for the last crystal, to open up the dragon's door, so they took off like a mistral, Plunging down the waterfall, they tried to grasp the bridge below, But fortune went against them and a bumble they did go! Way down deep within the water, a hidden chamber they did find, And lo, an undiscovered chest they encountered from behind. Never having seen this chest before, they quickly popped the hoard, and upon the heap within the coffer, found a mighty Nightblade sword! Some jewelry, some rings, and then an Ankh that was hidden below. They grasped the loot and held their breath, and floated up just so. A longer trip it was they took because their fall they fumbled, but much richer they were indeed for it; a most advantageous Bumble! -Sazerac (and this is told for the truth...I never knew there was a hollow under the waterfall with another chest! That's why I still play the game...it still has its mysteries!) [This message has been edited by Sazerac (edited 06-01-2001).] |

Thank you Sazerac. I was just laughing about how everyone decided to write bumbles again at the same time. Amazing! I think last time I wrote a bumble, you were right there behind me!
Your's was wonderful as well! As always. Your bumbles are very creative! Keep up the good bumbling! 'twas a bright and sunny day
the Bard sang "Begin The Beguin" We walked briskly our way unaware as we entered in. The food it smelled good as we sauntered on down if resist it we could when so far from town. As our stomachs did grumble saying "Hello there, fella" we started this here bumble insulting poor Pris Kiel'a. Then suddely,"crush damage!" and "SPLAT!" we fell so neat to their treachery we pay homage as we brush off our seat. "We have a spell to greet ya" 'cept our words begin a stumblin' 'tis that witch S'Keser Da six heroes she is humblin' Now ah heds is hollow an' she barks at da guard but gold we d'not follow an' soon we is not barred. We wuz in dat udder room me tinks a bit too much wit lotsa sounds o' doom an' gloom an' yellin' in pain an' such. Den we's attacked by one a Boogre jus' like us but in da end we won not wit out much fuss. An' den it's off we go ta gits da Boogre Brew we tinks we gots da dough but we don' gots no clue. We gits ta da bar an' da 'tender is hurt wit Boogres he spar an' he won' sell dirt! Wut lernin' we lernt from dis here bumble? We jus' might git burnt if'n we fiddle an' fumble. So, dis is our bumble we hopes it wuz fun an' tho we jus' begins ta fumble dis here bumble is done. +Dr.Pick [This message has been edited by Dr.Pick (edited 06-03-2001).] |
