I'm thinking of ordering ToB from amazon since it they have it about a
month befor we get it in oz, is there any difference between the
one from amazon and the one iwe get here?

Yes, we get a different version of games than they do in the USA or europe. I don't know how many differences there are but we get an asia-pacific version here in Oz. There must be some differences because there are different update patches depending on where you live. I don't think you're allowed legally to buy games from overseas websites and have them imported anyway. I doubt they would even send it to you, too expensive. I don't think we'll have to wait much longer than anywhere else to get the game. All the release dates I've heard for it's release in Oz are the same as USA.

Sure you can buy a game in Austrailia or something and import it to the US. LOL As long as the game is for sale to the public, it can be any public. As long as the item shipped doesn't break any international trade rules, such as transfering illegal items like drugs, animals, food, etc and doesn't break any customs rules, its legal.
Plenty of games are shipped from Japan and Asia to the USA for those who want them early. Of course they are in Japanese so you have to understand it to play it, but its not illegal. Just expensive.
