MindFlayers, Ulithiriad (or whatever their names are) have an attack called psionic blast, are there any protevtion from that specific attack ´cause the protection from magic scroll does nothing to this attack...
I keep getting hammered in the final room with the ulithriad and his unfinished army.
I found that cloudkill worked great against the umberhulks...but it doesn´t really cover the mind flayers or the ulithiriad.

The spell chaotic commands (its a cleric spell) makes you completley immune and they cant hurt Mordairakens sword either.

Invisible Stalkers are immune to the Psionic blast too. They still show the "stunned" icon over their heads, but they are immune.

Also, the green amulet offers some protection against psionic attacks...I don't recall its precise stats, but if you summon Mordenkeinan's sword and kill it, it should drop an amulet.

if yer desperate, you can swarm em w/ low-lvl skeletons, or if ur high enuff lvl (15 or above) you can hit em w/ skeleton warriors! just use animate dead, add illithids, and you have a bloodbath!

Psionic blast isn't a magical attack, so your protection from magic won't stop it.

Chaotic commands spell blocks all command attacks against you, domination, etc. I don't know if it will block the STUN ability of a psionic blast in case that occurs.
Mordairakens' sword works great. It is immune to psionic attacks and normal attacks, the mindflayers can't hurt it unless they have magical powers.
The Greenstone amulets put up a Psionic shield that protects you for 1 turn.
In the Mind flayer lair in the Underdark, you can make a Psionic potion that makes you immune to all psionic attacks for a limited time.

Don't forget, Mind flayers can attack with a Mind drain attack. This is a melee attack and drains -4 INT from your character. If you hit 0 INT, you die. This IS NOT a psionic attack but a physical one. If they hit you, you Lose INT. SO try and stay away from them when you attack if possible (summoned creatures, bows/slings/crossbows)
