I remember this one from Philosophy in university. I wrote a 16 page thesis on it and still never really proved that I existed. It's a question that really doesn't have an answer based on any facts.

If you subscribe to Descartes postulation, "I think, therefore I am",then the possibility of the existance of others is a given. The only definition of reality is the ability to think. If you base this on another's words then you have already stipulated that there are/were at least two persons within reality, yourself and Descartes. If you are real, and Descartes is real, then it is possible that others are real.

Now we only have to discover a way to ascertain if Johnny thinks, then we can know if he is real. [img]graemlins/laugh2.gif[/img]
